And just recently, Xiaomi has released a report regarding its smartphone shipments in the second quarter of 2021 where it managed to ship around 52.6 million smartphone units this year. This increased by 86.8% compared to the same quarter in 2020. That’s why Xiaomi is now the second-largest smartphone brand in the world. Xiaomi also revealed that according to a report from the analyst company Canalys, it was stated that Xiaomi has also led the smartphone business in 22 countries such as Italy and  France. Not only that, in 65 countries, Xiaomi has also made it into the list of the top 5 smartphone brands with the largest market share, so this is a sign that Xiaomi is starting to be known throughout the world. On the other hand, Xiaomi also announced that its IoT (Internet of Things) business also increased by 35.9% Year-on-Year where there are 374 million IoT units owned by Xiaomi which are now active.
