TECNO’s Mobile has indeed released its first ever Android phone to come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The first member of the TECNO W series is elegant and stylish, has a Wide angle camera, the TECNO W4 is a mid range phone and they is quite affordable. The TECNO W4 has a 5-inch HD display that is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-Core MediaTek processor, has 1GB of RAM, 16GB storage (can be expandable to 64gb via SD card), an 8 megapixel rear camera, 2megapixel front-facing camera and powered by a 2500mAh battery which TECNO claimed it would last 48 hours of usage which I strongly doubt.

TECNO W4 is definitely a phone to relish, it comes with the latest Marshmallow OS which is something very cool. However, I discovered two major turn offs which is OTG capabilities and battery. Unfortunately, it does not support OTG capabilities which mean you cannot use the OTG cable on the TECNO W4. While, the battery, 2500mAh seem too small compared to the battery of some mid range device. In our epileptic power, I feel TECNO should have increased its battery capacity to at least 3000mAh (Check out the list of TECNO phones with over 4000mAh battery capacity).
