And now one of the well-known music streaming services, Spotify, has officially launched its Clubhouse competitor application, named Greenroom. Greenroom is present as a Spotify-owned application that provides audio chat services such as the Clubhouse application. Users can enter rooms that discuss certain topics.
As the name implies, Greenroom also comes with a green display which is indeed the colour of the Spotify logo. The UI contained in this application is also made in line with the UI in the Spotify application. It is understood that Greenroom was developed by Betty Labs, the developer of the Locker Room application which was officially acquired by Spotify in March 2021. Although Greenroom is available for creators and artists to use on Spotify, anyone who downloads this application can create rooms, enter rooms, and join groups freely without any restrictions.
