In this Notepad update, Microsoft also reportedly will expand support for Unix / Linux and Macintosh that Notepad support. The status section will be automatically enabled in Notepad, including the ability to display rows and column numbers, including when Word Wrap mode is enabled. Also, in addition to introducing features, Microsoft boosted Notepad’s ability to open heavier files.
