If rumours floating around are any indication, we should be readying our wallets for the iPhone SE 2. It’s looking like the iPhone SE will get an update in the first quarter of 2018 with sources claiming that the new iPhone will be manufactured in India by Wistron who made the iPhone SE.
iPhone SE 2 design
iPhone SE was based on the iPhone 5S design and all signs are pointing to a modification of its look. Will Apple go with the Bezel-Free design of the iPhone X or will it look more like the iPhone 8? It is expected to be available in Silver, Gold and Space Grey. It may also feature a glass back which allows wireless charging a feature introduced with the iPhone 8 and iPhone X.
iPhone SE 2 dimensions
The iPhone SE has a 4in screen, the phone measuring 123.8mm by 58.6mm and it’s 7.6mm thick and weighs 113 grams. The iPhone SE 2 is expected to come with a 4.5in screen and should be as thin as the iPhone 8 at 7. 3mm. It’s also possible that the new entry-level iPhone won’t be smaller according to KGI securities analyst who indicated that Apple was working on a low-cost version of the iPhone with a TFT screen and fewer pixels. This iPhone screen could, in fact, be larger than that of the iPhone 8.

The iPhone SE 2 is expected to feature the A10 Fusion chip found in the iPhone 7. Other features to expect are:
A rear 12MP camera with f1.8 apertures and a 7MP FaceTime camera with Retina Flash. 2GB RAM 32GB or 128GB Storage options A 1750 mAh battery iOS 11 And the return of the 3.5mm audio jack.
iPhone SE 2 Price
The SE 2 is likely to remain Apple’s most affordable new-gen iPhone moving forward with pricing rumours placing it around the $500 mark. Though the price range rising is likely it would still be relatively cheap compared to the rest of Apple’s range. If you like your iPhone smaller and cheaper be looking forward to spring 2018 when the iPhone SE 2 would be made available with reports suggesting that mass production will begin soon.
