Apple regularly updates the list of devices that are compatible with iOS, deletes old models, and reduces the number of devices that support software. This year seems a little different. The list of iPad supported using iPadOS will not include all devices compatible with iPadOS 13. Apple will discontinue support for iPad mini 4 and iPad Air 2. They suggest the A8 and A8X chips will not be compatible with the new iPadOS. In 2019, iPhonesoft suggested the iPhone SE would not support the switch to iOS 13. However, the end of the prediction was missed.
